SMS Consent Policy

Effective date: May 2, 2026

1. Program Description

BYOPA sends SMS text messages solely for account verification. When you choose to sign up or sign in using a phone number, we send a one-time passcode (OTP) to confirm your identity. No marketing or promotional messages are ever sent.

2. How You Opt In

SMS messages are optional. To receive an OTP via text, you must:

• Enter your mobile phone number on the BYOPA sign-up or sign-in form.
• Check the consent checkbox labeled "I agree to receive SMS text messages from BYOPA for account verification" before submitting.

Checking the box is entirely voluntary. You can create and use a BYOPA account without providing a phone number or checking this box. Consent is not required to use BYOPA.

3. Message Frequency

One (1) message per sign-in attempt. Messages are only sent when you actively trigger a verification request on the sign-in or sign-up page.

4. Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any BYOPA text message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. You can re-enroll by checking the consent checkbox again on the sign-in form.

7. No Third-Party Sharing

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are never sold.
